Fall is here

We went to Real Life Church today and we all got to see Miss Judy who was up here in Iowa visiting. It was SO nice to see her and the hubs! After church I went out on the town with one of Josh's PDI buddies. He has a newer Corvette and anyone who knows me KNOWS I love me some corvette! I wanted to get a photo of the rear view mirror with a church in the background. (Since next years fair theme is "Churches" I am very pleased with the way it turned out! After I got what shots I wanted I just got some fun photos for Kavin to have of his car... I mean with a nice car like that who wouldn't want some great photos?!? !!
Photoshoot over I had to come back to reality so upon returning home I decided to make those Pumpkin Cupcakes I'd been craving... and it turns out a double batch of those things is 4 dozen cupcakes... not sure why I thought I'd need a double batch!
I have a few photoshoots coming up here- on Thursday I have a senior then next Sunday is a family... I'm pretty excited for these they should be very fun to do!

Cropduster

One of my favorite things to do is to capture things in the moment. I got to enjoy taking photos of a helicopter cropduster today that was right next to my house. (I have never seen a helicopter playing the roll of a duster before!) It was SO close to our houses! I started off in the back yard on my deck and realizing it was going east I decided I would go to the front yard. As I went through the house I realized my husbands dog was in the middle of having a bad blow out (heat / people food = not good for puppy FYI) so I told my eldest daughter to put the dog outside thinking I'd clean up after I got back inside from my photoshoot. I'm running as fast as I can in no shoes and I get to the front yard where my foot finds a hole in the yard and I twist my ankle falling to the grown my camera going down with me. It hits and pops the camera card piece open. Not even thinking of my own pain that is soon to come I fix the camera and start shooting more photos. How can one miss out on the awesome photo opt even in the middle of a crisis?? (It would have been a waste of the pain.) So I get the photos I want and my daughter comes out to inform me there has been more puppy explosions and she sees me on the grass in agony. I quickly ask her to go get her father to get the puppy messes before the 2 year old can get into it. I wobble back to my rocking chair in the living room and I'm there without moving for an hour... WEEEE the exciting adventures of art continue!!
On a higher note I have been asked to take photos in the hospital of a dear dance mom friends new baby. She is even going to ask if I can come in and take photos in the OR. I'm thrilled! I really hope I can- what an amazing thing for me to be able to capture for someone!

I'm Back!

Well after months of having no energy (from taking care of the three kidos and being pregnant with the fourth) I am officially BACK! It's great to be back too! I didn't realize how much I missed taking photos!! I am currently saving all the money I make so that I can get a new camera! I'm only $120 in but I'll get there!
I started off my season with two great families! Both of them are friends from high school! They have the most fun kids to work with!
You can check out more photos of them on facebook! Michelle Lindell Arts

It's been awhile.

I have been ignoring my "blogspot" button. Not because I don't want to blog but because I have nothing to blog about right now. I have been growing a baby and not doing anything with my business lately. I hope that you all will come back to my blog in late July and I promise I will start blogging again!
Much love to you all!
